Privacy

This policy explains what personal information zawqi collects, why, and who we share it with. zawqi is operated by an independent individual (“we”). Questions about your data? Email hello@zawqi.app.

What we collect

• Your email address, to create your account and sign you in. We sign you in with a one-time code sent to your email, so we never ask for or store a password.
• Optional profile details: a display name and an avatar image, only if you choose to add them.
• Purchase status and agent-token records, so we can provide personal API access and let you revoke credentials.
• Basic technical and usage data: the ordinary information a website receives to operate securely and reliably.

We do not run third-party advertising trackers, and we never sell your personal information.

Payments

Payments are handled by Polar, our Merchant of Record. When you buy lifetime access, Polar processes the transaction and is the seller of record; your payment details go to Polar, not to us, and we never see or store your card information. Polar's handling of that data is governed by Polar's privacy policy.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to operate zawqi, for example to host our infrastructure and store data, and to process payments. We share only the information a provider needs to perform its function, and they may not use it for anything else. We're happy to share our current list of providers on request; just email us.

How we build Site records

We capture and analyze publicly available websites using automated tools and AI providers. We store rendered pages, screenshots, extracted images, Markdown, classifications, and derived search documents. This process handles public webpage content, not private user data.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your personal data, or have your account and data deleted, at any time; email hello@zawqi.app and we'll take care of it.

Changes

We'll update this page if our practices change and revise the date above. Continuing to use zawqi after a change means you accept the updated policy.
